Possible fraud

Sold an item for £65 and buyer has messaged me asking if I happen to have tracking info. I replied stating possibly but would have to double check receipts. Knowing full well I have got it so I asked if there was anything wrong to which a speedy reply item still not arrived I promptly sent a pic showing it was collected at a post office by someone with same surname and then after about 8 mins I got back sorry I’m in Cyprus no one at home told me they signed for a delivery. At which point I replied as you can see in pic it was collected Monday 2:10 by someone who would have had id and signed for it with your surname and if there is any issue we can call the sorting office in question and ask for cctv to be checked to see who actually picked item up and then would need to call the police to investigate the theft I then said good day to yourself good sir but given your in Cyprus must be a dam sight warmer than here needless to say not heard a sickie bird back. Should I report this to eBay if so what’s the best way to do it. Many thanks for any assistance given. Happy Christmas all you sellers out there.

Why on earth did you just not put the tracking onto the item in your Sold section so the buyer could check for themselves.

It is slightly possible that like in the UK then item was left with a neighbour or around the property.

Even if that was not the case if you have tracking to say it was Delivered and the buyer opens a dispute then you win if it says Delivered

If you have not done so then put it on now. I you send tracked then add if as soon as you post it. It saves a lot of problems.

What are you going to report to ebay?.The buyer does not have to sign in person so anyone could have signed it
