Recently Ive been asked to pay an insertion fee, which i want to do, but i wont be giving ebay my bank account details, i don't want to, i cant find anyway to make a onetime payment with paypal. I will then stop selling on ebay (not that ive sold much anyway)... Any ideas, pretty sure when i placed the advert there was no mention of having to give my details as ive always (including 4 weeks previously) just suied paypal to pay fees, ive allways used paypal in the past, i know the new rules have changed.
Way forward?
All sellers will be under eBay's managed Payments this year. Paypal is no longer required as the ' Middleman' here, eBay process all payments with the help of their new Dutch payment processor, Adyen.
You can if you wish , some members are happier doing this, send eBay details of a completely new current account if you do not wish them to have the one you are using. As long as it matches exactly the name on your eBay account, and use that solely to receive eBay payments. Worth doing if you do still wish to sell the odd bits and bobs in the future.
Here is how to pay any outstanding fee.
On top of the page, go to My eBay>> Summary >> Account tab, or on Seller Hub select Shortcuts , then , Site Preferences >> Seller Account >> Invoices>> and there scroll down a little to the link... Make a One Time Payment.
You will need a web browser, not a mobile browser, and not the eBay app to manage this.
