Hi.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=222208135005#ht_500wt_1288
Order was for: 2 tins of wood filler
Tue 16 Aug - Ordered
Mon 22 Aug - Damaged/part-order arrived (1 tin received instead of 2)
Mon 22 Aug - Notified EBay/Seller immediately with photo - but only allowed to open a return
Mon 22 Aug - Advise seller to refund half the amount or send extra tin as I need the 2 tins urgently (no response)
Wed 24 Aug - Seller accepts return
Wed 24 Aug - Contact seller again to advise could they do a partial refund or send extra tin (still no response)
I am very annoyed, as I had an urgent job to do so I used the 1 tin that did arrive to protect the wood/job I was doing. EBay only allowed me to open a return, and the seller has not responded to any of the messages I have sent apart from to accept a return.
Do I either:
- Send back an empty/used tin?
- Buy a tin locally (£10 for 1, although was out of stock when I last checked on Friday), (the original order was £12 for 2 tins!) and send this back?
I am unable to contact EBay through any other means at the moment, so I am at a loss as to what to do. I really don't want to buy a tin at £10 to send this back, but the return process is insisting I return something. Do I therefore send an empty/used tin? No-one is answering me despite attempts to contact EBay (says to use return process with no contact option apart from this community option), and the seller has still not responded to any of my messages.
At this rate I will be forced to send back an empty/used tin as I cannot get one locally at the moment as my local B&Q store is out of stock. Arrggghhh!
Any help from EBay etc on here would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
