Packlink Issues Beware!!

I just felt the need to make other users aware of the issue that I have had using Packlink in an attempt to avoid the same thing happening to others. This week many weeks after I used their service to send an item to my Buyer I received an underpayment charge completely out of the blue. The reason they stated was that the package exceeded the length the Courier accepts. They went on to state that if I wish to challenge the payment that they had already taken from my PayPal account (what an absolute cheek) I had to send photo evidence of the package with a ruler alongside the package confirming that it was indeed the correct size. When I emailed them to say how on earth could I be expected to send photos this long past the delivery date they just replied with the same message that the package was oversize. I emailed again saying they were missing the point that this had happened many weeks ago and should have been picked up either on collection or at the first transit hub they quoted their T&C's saying they had 60days to effect this charge.

So my point is make sure if you choose to use this Company! beware and take photos before the package is collected if the sizing is close to the limit.

As I have already told Packlink I will not be using their service again I would rather walk to my local Post Office.

Correct decision, this Company seems to invent the rules as it goes along. Asthey never deliver anything and don't seem to understand the rules that apply to the Courier they use, they should be avoided. On ebay if you the seller makes a mistake for postage you cannot ask the buyer for more, not so with this useless Company, who no doubt hide behind something in the small print. I would never use any of the dubious services offered by ebay, Packlink or Click and Collect, where the possibility of errors is increased by the number of points in the chain of what should be a simple process of posting from Seller to Buyer.
