Not received an item I have paid £320 for

I purchased a cement mixer on the 11th of July and arranged to collect it. On the day of collection, the seller wasn't home. The seller agreed to deliver it the following week, but didn't. I asked the seller to refund my money, but i haven't heard from them in days now. It says the item isn't covered under the eBay guarantee, but surely there is a way of getting Ebay to help me get my money back?.

Where did you read this? Items sold for collection ARE covered by eBay's money back guarantee, provided all the conditions are satisfied.

Hi!. Originally the item was for collection, but when I went to collect the seller was out, even after arranging the collection for that day. The seller then said she would get it delivered the following week for me. They didn't after waiting in all day, so asked for my money back. After 3 days I still have had no reply. I have now managed to speak to an Ebay advisor and they are dealing with it as an undelivered item. Just have to wait now to see if the seller responds. Thanks!

Make sure you escalate after 3 days, it is not automatic.
