New postage fees

Please help! My buyer has purchased item from me (Saddle) howeven I then discovered they were overseas so got a new quote for the shipping, this went from the orginal £25 I had on listing to £150 with the buyer agreed. They sent me a screen shot of her making the amedment to shipping cost at checkout and paying this amount however on my account it only shows she has paid the saddle cost plus original £25 postage?

Buyer is adament she has paid this and sent me the screenshots to show this but I don't feel comfortable posting the saddle as the money has not shown on my ebay payments?

BUYER cannot amend the postage, they pay what you have put on the invoice or they don't pay. If a screen shot has been sent it must be a fake as te buyer cannot change you r invoi

Either you did not send a correct invoice or they aretrying it on. You do not post untill you have proof of payment. Even with mManaged Payments you can see exacly what you have been paid.

Your listing shows you are in the Global Shipping Programme but I doubt that they would deal with this, so it is down to you and it is a lot to lose. Buyer would also be liable for Import Duties and claiming they have sent more than you have received causes concern.

I assume that you have made allowances for the large selling fee, but even so buyer can only pay what is on the invoice you sent.

To be honest I think you should cancel this sale, using problem with buyers address as the reason, you may be risking bad feedback, but surely that is a risk worth taking rather than losing a £1000 item, and the problems of cases being opened to get a refund.

Also add this buyer to your Blocked bidders List.

I would suggest that even your quote of £25 for ECONOMY Postage in the UK is a bit optimistic as I doubt you would have any cover for loss or damage, but you would still have to refund.

Saddle sold under GSP, so buyer will be charged for international postage & import fees upfront.

I see you relisted item, have you dealt with 1st winner correctly, if not you will still pay ebay fees.

You needed to send a new invoice with the amended postage on the invoice for the seller to pay. Did you do that?.
