My buyer can't pay

Hi,

 

My buyer (the winner of my auction) receives an error message on the attempt of paying. And the message goes like this:

 

"One or more sellers can't accept payments right now. Please contact the sellers for help."

 

This is a new eBay seller account (1-month-old)

My PayPal account is linked to the eBay account.

My payment settings are the same as my first account (2 years old)

And this is my first auction sale.

This is the first-ever sale in my new account.

 

Did anyone experience such a situation?

I would appreciate if you could suggest me what to do in this situation, thank you.

There has been a site wide glitch affecting both sellers and buyers since early yesterday evening.

 

There is nothing you can do yourself other that wait for the glitch to sort itself out.

Just in case this is not part of the many glitches at the moment, I do not understand what you mean by this -

 

"My payment settings are the same as my first account (2 years old)"

 

If you have two accounts, I believe each one needs a different email address for Paypal. It would be worth checking that the email account on the item sold has been added to Paypal.
