More hassle from evilbay

Just recieved a message, and then spent the last twenty minutes trawling through ebays god awful system, trying to find a contact email, or live chat address, as usual, without success.

Message reads;

"eBay account security communication partner warning

Hello woodsman,

Our records show that you recently contacted or received messages from through eBay's messaging system. We’re writing to let you know that an unauthorized third party may have compromised this member's account security. It’s important to note that we’re unaware of any problems with your account."

God I hate you. Whoever composed this message is a ****. But at least you are consistently awful.

Who the hell are you talking about when you state 'this member's account security' ?

Which member? Which message? The message about my refund? Do I have to worry about that? Something I was going to buy, I was asking the seller about? Is that it?

Ive managed to avoid contacting you for about a decade now. Please dont spoil our relationship by sending me messages which make me have to try.

You post is wasted on here as if you read at the top of the page we are members like yourself and not ebay.

WE never sent any message or know anything about why you have received it

If you have been in contact with another member then it seems it has triggered the message.

What refund

Did you do it through a dispute

If you think you are addressing Ebay then think again! If you read the heading you will see we are members like you and we do not appreciate that sort of language on here.

As far as I can tell, ebay have given you a warning that there could be a problem with some member you have communicated with. Just take note in case something goes wrong.

If an account has been compromised you could be at risk of losing money. Only you know the circumstances, but so many account have been hacked in the last few months, that you should pay attention to this warning.
