Customer contacted me to advise that they recieved message that their item had arrived and to collect it from local shop, when they called in to collect they were told that the item was not there and it had been returned by mistake (i have not received any returned items), Not sure how to proceed with this as never happened before any advice would be welcome.
You need to make sure that any tracking or 16 digit code from a post office receipt is on the item in your sold section
If it show delivered to the shop then you should win any dispute.
The buyer has 7 days to collect the item from the shop and if they dont then it may be disposed of by the shop or returned to you.
If they were within time then they should contact ebay and ask them about thier item
Usually the seller does not get the item back
The buyer needs to open a not received dispute
As long as it says Delivered to the collection shop then you should win any dispute
