May Final Value Fees Max £1 offer

Ive just downloaded my Ebay invoice for May and I've been charged more than £1 final value fees on some items ive sold even though I've activated the Max. Selling fees offer.

Has anyone else had this problem?

You do not have the "option" to decide when - or whether - to become a business seller.

Search "business seller" in help and contact above to see the conditions and fees

you aren't regitered as a business seller so you don't qualify for the business seller £1 offer

and all your listings appear to be multiple item listings, so they don't qualify for the private seller £1 offer, as that was for single item listings only

you need to:-

I’ve only just started selling a lot on eBay during lockdown. Is it worth upgrading to a business account ? Does it cost a lot of money to do that and can I keep my existing username or do I have to start again from scratch ?

if you are selling items that you bought with the sole intention of selling you have to have a business account,


if you are only selling your own unwanted items you need a private account,


it doesn't cost anything to upgrade, and your account doesn't change, you keep the same ID and feedback etc.

you will be charged insertion fees and the final value fees vary according to the category you list in
