I recently had to return an item but was wondering why I never seem to be able to mark the item as dispatched after I've posted it back. I've rarely had to do this but recall this problem once before. It's not a huge deal as I can always contact the seller to let them know but it's so there is a record for Ebay to be able to see that the returned goods have now been sent back and the date they were sent etc. It's a record after all that the goods have been returned in case the seller denied it or extra protection for the buyer as another proof of postage along with a postal receipt
