Managed Payments - transaction fee breakdown

Hi to all

Does anyone know where you can get a breakdown of the fees charged per transaction in the new managed payments system?

I'm just seeing the total amount deducted and clicking on the transaction details doesn't give you anything else.

Thanks but unfortunately it just takes you to the transaction page for each item sold. It gives the total amount deducted but still doesn’t break it down.

break it down into what exactly?

you now pay one fee to ebay through the actual payment the expenses page I sent you to shows the fee for each item in each transaction

if you choose 'all transactions' then click on the transaction details it breaks it down per order

the insertion fees are invoiced monthly

Because I can’t work out how eBay are calculating the fees. As I understand it, you are charged a final value fee according to the sale price & category and inclusive of postage and tax if applicable, plus 30p. As an example, I sold a book; total including postage was £8.20 and eBay have charged me £1.40 in fees. Should that not be 9.9% plus 30p? Or am not comprehending it properly?!

you are a private seller,

so you are being charged 12.8% plus 30p per transaction

9.9% is for registered business sellers and they are charged 20% VAT on top of the fees
