Make partial refund after accepting a return

Hi can anybody help. I agreed to accept a return from a customer for an item damaged in the post. However he now wishes to keep the we have now agreed a partial refund that we are both content with. When I try to issue the refund it appears that ebay will only refund the full amount. Is there an option after I press refund button to make it partial?

Hi John thanks for replying. That’s true but it’s a rare item and the buyer decided he wants to keep it so we agreed a partial refund. We are both content with the solution. How do I reverse the agreed return and issue the partial refund.

If buyer opened a not As Described Case, then they get a full refund after returning the damaged item.

Why should the buyer be out of pocket, have you never read the Money Back Guarantee?
