I have been an ebay member for many years and though most of my ebay dealings have been purchases I have also sold lots of items. Today I decided I would start to seel the hundreds of unused items I have collected over the years, it has taken me from lunchtime today until now to be able to list just 3 items
Everytime I try to list anything I get told I am in violation of listing policy, nothing, I repeat nothing, within the ebay programme points you to the supposed offending item or action. All you get is "Please read our listing policy"
If have listed an item, then I think it is safe to assume that I believe I have listed it correctly, but, along comes ebay and tells me "No" you have not listed it correctly now go back and list it correctly. How What Where When - Listing violation ?????? Ebay are paranid that everyone at every minute of the day is trying to rip them off, they do not want top point out their listing policies because then you might just become familiar with those policies and heaven forbid you may just devise a way to circumvent them.
I dont know how ebay make any mon ey out of this as all they do is tell you "Listing Violation"
Sorry for the rant, but when half a day is taken up trying to list 3 items out of a potential hundred, then is there any wonder that people are turning to Gumtree and Preloved. ?
I have even had to word one of the adverts saying it included postage and then state in the write up "Collection Only" becaue ebay wouldn't let me do it any other way.
Absolutely Pathetic system
