Hi 👋 I’m useless at this sort of thing! But I’m wondering if you could help me plz..I brought in good faith on a ad site on e-bay! Just under the fire sticks saying fully loaded fire stick! Thought there good so brought 2 at £29:99p,there pay pal wouldn’t let me on so don’t think no more of it because there was the lock 🔒 sign so thought it ok!,payed through my bank card, got a recipe saying thank you with the picture of 2 fire sticks &what I’d paid it also said Down load here. So pressed it & it said zip well this is gobbledygook to me but looks like Iv been scammed so was wondering plz if you could help me I’m a good customer of e-bay & a genuine person plz 🙏🏼can you help me yours sincerely pierina Phillis..😔😔

If you bought it from an ebay listing, use the money back guarantee

If you bought it from a pop up ad on ebay, your issue is with them, not ebay

Ok 👍🏻 I’ve tried phoning no reply tried emailing no reply so I don’t know what to do should I go to the police!!..or my bank as they have my bank details..?? A worried e-bay customer 😔😖

If you downloaded a zip file then its likely you've been scammed.

Beware zip files from unknown sources.

Scan your computer / device for any viruses. All devices need antivirus software to keep them secure.

If you used paypal to pay, open a not received case in Paypal.

Otherwise it might be best to contact your bank.

Hi I paid through my bank card because the pay pal on there sight wouldn’t work so being naive put my direct debit card information on for these two fire sticks I thought I was purchasing!!..
