Just for you notifications

Any ideas why I suddenly get annoying 'just for you' notifications on my Android eBay app? They are totally unrelated ads on things that I would never buy!
I have switched off notifications in the general section on the app and switched off everything in communication preferences/Promotions and surveys on the desktop.
Still getting them!!

Try changing notifications you receive by going into the settings>notifications in the app. Under General Notifications there should be ones mentioning Events and Offers.

Thanks, but I already had that switched off and still getting the notifications.
