Purchased a item JBL end of may, it was dangerously hot when recharged for first time, never used the item but tripped my circuit board each time plugged in. Item sent back, acknowledged receipt of return so as eBay. PayPal say it's EBay to manage but had no refund and case closed. Item and seller has disdapeared from purchased list but acknowledges returned. What can I do, eBay not interested.
As @ruby*tuesday says you were out of time. Why on earth did you send it back without opening a case? If the seller does not refund eBay will not do anything.
You should be able to open a paypal case from the payment up to 180 days and escalate after 2 days and before 20 days. You will - of course - need to add the tracking to the case showing delivery [you did didn't you?]. Simple acknowledgement by seller probably will not do
You were out of time for an EBay Returns Case. Is 30 days from Delivery. Log into PayPal and find Resolve a problem down the left hand side. Open a Case and Escalate it after 2 days but before 20 days.
