I recently sold a small evening bag with a removable long and short strap...item sold for 99p (disappointing but you win some lose some) I then received mail saying item was not closing and therefore not as described and is defective? To be honest was not worth arguing the point so accepted the return and was going to donate bag to charity.
The bag has just arrived and the clasp was slighty out of aline (assume bent when in post) so bent back and bag closes fine now, however the second long strap is missing....I know its only 99p but do I have any course of action other than to let this buyer have his money?
Update
Surprise Surprise
I had mail from E-Bay to ask if I would refund bag or let them handle any dispute, so clicked on that link and let them know whole story, just went back on site and had notification that E-bay have refunded buyer!!!
It really does make you wonder whether its worth taking the chance of selling anything on here as Buyer Rules!!! I know its only 99p but it really is the principal it could just as easily have been £99...and the buyer gets away with sending back bag in perfectly good condition...he gets his money back and appears to have kept the strap...GRRRRRRR
