How do we resolve the problem of ebay / couriers thinking the Isle of Wight is in the Channel Islands?
Again and again I get that the seller "does not post to the Isle of Wight" even if they are UK based. Do people not know where we are?
I had a looong conversation earlier, pointing out to ebay support that we are NOT : the Channel Isles, the Scilly Isles, the Hebrides, Shetland, the Outer Hebrides, the Isle of Man or Ynes Mon.
It is getting beyond a joke. We are not extra territorial (another excuse) we are classed as Portsmouth, we have a PO postcode. We are the same as Hayling Island. Portsmouth itself is on an island (Portsea Island) and they don't have any trouble.
It costs no more to post here than it does to Portsmouth. Royal Mail first class is the same.
