Incorrect Description and buyer refusing a refund

So I purchased a 'White Gold Diamond' ring. I messaged the seller 3 times to check the carat of the diamond and the precious metal type and she confirmed it was white gold etc. I received the item yesterday and it's silver (hallmarked 925) and obviosly not a real diamond.

Seller is refusing to give me a refund. I've tried to explain that her description was wrong and that I am therefore entitled to a refund but she's having none of it.

I can't find a number for ebay anymore or an email address and I have opened a return request but cannot see an option to ask them to step in.... Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

You have done the right thing opening a return request but can i check you opened not as described and not just a straight return.

You get the option to escalate to eBay after 3-4 days, if seller tries to ignore return.Seller then has to supply prepaid label for you to print and return the goods and refund 2 days after return received.
