I sold some items on ebay i payed for postage but haven't received postage money

I sold a few items posted them they sent me the item money but not the postage money so im out of pocket

That's not possible. Buyers are charged the Full Amount. Are you sure that you aren't getting confused with Managed Payments?  Ebay Pay your Funds into your Bank minus your Seller Fees?
