I didn't bid, but won!

I have won an item which I didn't bid on.
I was in eBay using an android device and diverted my attention to pouring a drink and in that time my android device found an item and placed two individual separate bids in order to win the highest bid.
The item had 8 minutes remaining and the only other bidder surrendered the highest bid and the auction ended.
At 8 minutes I tried consecutively to contact the seller to explain the situation before the auction ended.
I was not looking in the category of the item nor anything closely resembling the item.
I had received an email from the seller accepting the explanation of what strange reason I have to give and I am still confused 😕 how this happened but I am still receiving emails from eBay saying I am obligated to continue with the purchase.
Bizarre at it may seem my android device had no input made to it directly or indirectly but when I returned to my device the page was confronting me with the congratulations Highest Bidder page of the mentioned item. This is two separate individual bids.
I am being told I am responsible but I can't pay for this as all this has been unintentional. Even so.
