A wrong item was delivered and I started a return request. The seller then arranged collection as postage label was insufficient and has received the item back but has said that as I started a case with ebay they cannot refund me and as I don't have a tracking number I seem unable to get in touch with ebay to resolve this. Does anybody know of an actual telephone number I can use to speak to ebay.
of course they can refund you if they wish to.
They are playing on the fact that you need tracking proving they got the item for eBay to force a refund.
So unless you upload tracking to the case showing delivered or attempted delivery you won't win the case.
