How to cancel a return

Hi, i decided to return an item which did not fit and already started the process, but the seller offered a reasonable refund and asks to cancel the return from my side. Is it possible? He also states that his fud have been frozen and he will refund after i cancel the return. This sounds a bit strange.

No, do not close the return. If you do you will hear nothing else from the seller. He's trying it on.

Tell him you will wait for your refund and then, if he doesn't refund you, escalate the case for ebay to step in.

Thanks. I already contacted ebay help and they said the same. So my intuition was right!
