A parcel i posted last wednesday has no tracking other than the time i dropped it off at a hermes parcel shop & that it was collected the same day.
That was last wednesday = no other processing info is showing up.
The only Hermes customer service contact facility i can find is 0330 808 5456.
You go through the motions of supplying the tracking number through an auto message and then offered to be passed over to a customer service adviser.
Then you are told they are very busy and told to hang on for someone to become available.
30 minutes went by today and i would imagine i would still be on the phone now because you are not told where you are in the queue or how many are ahead of you.
In the meanwhile my customer wants a refund or a replacement item.
Tempted to just refund the buyer = take the loss and never use hermes again

As an important aside, you always have to refund your buyer first, before trying to get compensation for yourself.
If the buyer opens a case for item not received, you have 3 days to refund them, if you do not have tracking to show delivery, otherwise the buyer can escalate on day 4, eBay will force the refund , you will pay an unnecessary seller fee and gain a damaging defect on your account.
