If,as E-BAY say on the message 'list for free and pay maximum of £2 selling fee's' what is the 30p charge for?

Private sellers can list up to 1,000 items without paying an insertion fee. 

The max FVF offers usually mean that the £2.00 or £3.00 etc. are the max you will pay in fees. 

The % off FVF usually exclude the 30p fee. 

The 30p fee is a per-transaction processing fee. 

Check the T&C's of the offer to be sure if the 30p is included or excluded.
