Hello ,
This morning I awoke 2 a message on My phone from the Halifax Building Society fraud detection team asking if I had made an Ebay payment of £1500 for this item .
Gaming / Workstation PC & 34 " Monitor , Ryzen 3700x . as I had certainly not made this purchase the Halifax team had declined payment leaving the item in My basket .
I have tried in vain to contact Ebay regarding this & have messaged the seller Who has not responded ..disgusted that Ebay have no contact or even help in thius type of fraud .
If Anyone can point Me towards any contact information I would be indebted ,
I have naturally change My Ebay password & Halifax have sent out a new card but to be honest I would be very wary of buying through Ebay again after this .
Thank You in advance ,
Steve..
When your account has been compromised you need to let ebay know and secure it.All details in this ebay link,http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/account/securing-account.html
Change all your online passwords ASAP.
the item is still for sale and you cannot call out another member and accuse them of fraud.
Have you used Help & Contact at top of page, just scroll down for contact options.
I constantly get the options, even when I am just looking for information and do not want to contact ebay, and Live Chat was quoting a waiting time of one minute.
