Sold an item on ebay, the buyer has left positive feedback. Almost 1 week later i get a returns request saying that the item is faulty which i am 100% confident its not, buyer did not contact me first before opening a case against me.
I have agreed to the return and issued a returns label however 4 days later he has still not dispatched this item to me. I know he has something like 2 weeks to return it but if the item genuinely is faulty then why delay returning it?
This is where I feel the system is being abused and I believe if I ask ebay to step in just now I can't claim if my item is returned to me damaged. How is that even fair.
NEVER involve ebay, they will just refund whether buyer has reurned or not. The ball is in buyer's court, it is up to him to return for a refund, and of course until the label is scanned at the Post Office you will not have to pay for the postage.
Arguing is a waste of time, again just provokes a refund.
