I've been catching up on emails as I was travelling this week and I wanted to look at an ebay listing, but, it has ended. In the past, I could still open that listing and see what happened with it. Unfortunately, in recent months, I've noticed ebay pushing me towards similar items that are still on sale. However, 99% of the time, that's not what I want to see.
Saying that, there used to be a handy message telling me it had ended along with a link back to that ended listing. Unfortunately, today, I tried to do just that and the new ebay layout has removed that handy link back to the ended item. Having a look around the page, I cannot see a link back to the item I had a direct link to in the first place!
So, this leaves me with the question - what can I do to see that ebay item in my email?? Is there an easy way to link back to it?
On that ended listing, click on the word 'listing' in the blue or brown banner heading. That will bring you back to the original ended listing. If you cannot manage this on an app or phone switcch to a laptop / PC.
The picture you are showing does not look as if that item has ended?
Also, what device are you using? Not sure whether my answer will work if you are using an app or phone, but it definitely works on a PC / laptop. Just seen pixie's answer below. She is clearly pointing out the word ' listing', the one you need to click on. The banners are sometimes blue or brown.
when you land on a similar item click on the word 'listing' in the blue bar, to see the item you wanted to look at in the first place
