Presumably the disclaimer must contain a warning that they cannot be legally used on roads or pavements or any public place such as parks. It beats me why therefore anyone would buy one.
There are - of course - thousands listed and I note one of the disclaimers which says:
• Warning: It is illegal to ride electric scooters on public roads, pavements, or cycle paths. They are intended only for use on private land with the owner’s permission
It's strange. Other countries might ban them from sale but we "expect" those who would ride to "obey the law"
