Argh, it seems the free phone number I had has been automated to send you back to searching online, eventually managed to get a 1890 number and code but when dialled came up as wrong number, then tried the online chat and found out this was not available.

What is happening E Bay was in my case the best for customer relations to talk too to sort out any issues ,it now seems they are the opposite.

Hope this reaches someone who can provide a answer.

In most cases you do not have to contact ebay as problems with items are sorted out in the resolution centre. It is all automated

Hi Redneck, thanks for quick response, as a technophobe have always when needed contacted E Bay customer services and spoke to an advisor and they have been brilliant in sorting any problem.
Now it seems all automated and cannot get an answer to my issue.
My issue is the buyers registered address and the postal address was different and the Christian name different although the surname and postal district the same.
This threw me slightly so I am sending to the address E Bay recommends, but alas I will now not use E bay anymore unless I have too.
Such a shame as I have said found them so supportive previously.

Yes you should send to the address given by ebay.
