I'm new to eBay and ordered a Milenco door key. It stated I needed my key code which I have. However the transaction made me pay for the key without allowing me to even upload my code for me key. Then I received a message saying my order will be sent. But how can my order be sent when I've not been allowed to upload me key code?? I've desperately tried to call the supplier that is it answering their phones and eBay doesn't seem to have any call centre and just gives a recorded message telling me to go online. I really regret my purchase and want to cancel this now but can't seem to be able to do this.
"Please do not contact me again. I suspect you are the cheaper ‘replacement
CS’ team they have used to save them the multi millions in a professional
CS call centre."
Try contacting ebay CS & see how "Professional" they are, assuming you can get through to anyone.
We give up our own time (for free) to try & help others, but some don't appear to appreciate it.
Wait until you receive the item and then see what happens
Have you read the listing carefully to see what it says and to make sure you did not order a blank key
If the item is not as described as on the listing then you open a not as described dispute
It is as described but not what you wanted then you open a returns request
Open a not as described dispute at the bottom of the page under Resolution Centre.
Escalate it after a full 3 days of opening the dispute.
The seller needs to send a pre paid label for the return.
If they dont then ebay should when you escalate the dispute.
Make sure it goes back tracked and that the tracking is in the dispute.
You have 30 days from the day of delivery to open a dispute in ebay
Read up on the Ebay money back guarantee
It really is no use making threats of leaving or anything else. As yet you have not been ripped off and ebay money back guarantee is there to make sure buyers are covered. All disputes are automated and timed you just need to wait for the item to arrive and then deal with it. Ebay wont or cant deal with it it is between yourself and the seller. You can try and contact the seller through the item in your Purchase History or go back to their listings and if they are a business which they would have to be then their contact details should be on the listing.
Buyers do not have an automatic right to cancel a purchase and the seller has said they are sending.
Just wait for it too arrive
If you have a problem when it does then come back
