Delivered a parcel to the wrong address

Hi

A customer wanted an item fixing, so i spoke to the supplier sorted out collection and delivery to the supplier. The supplier fixed an electric scooter but unfortuantely i used the order details address from the customers email. I presumed the email was from his listing as i havent listed anything in 3 months. The scooter has his name and has gone to someone elses address. I have contacted them but they havent replied back to me.

What can i do to get the electric scooter back from the customer

There is nothing you can do through ebay or paypal. I am afraid that it is a problem created by you and only you can sort it out.

The address it was sent to must be known to the original buyer, although whoever has received it should be highly suspicious of anyone calling to collect this as it would seem like a scam.  You can only hope they do contact you.

I am afraid that with hindsight you should have let your buyer sort out the problem and you cover the costs.
