Damaged purchase

Hello I purchased a single string guitar electric pickup, I am in the UK. The item shipped from China. When it arrived it was damaged/broken not working.

The seller asked for a picture.

I replied to that request using my email but the seller did not reconnected photo.

I have tried to reply with pictures through the eBay website, however it Will not let me attach the photo's. I have tried drop and drag and find photo on your computer.

I have done both several times, none has worked.

I have asked the seller for their email, but they have not replied.

I am stuck the pick up that is unsealed it cost eleven pounds and thirty eight pence.

How can I get a replacement or a refund?

open a not as described case -

But you might have difficulty in getting the return postage cost.

You dont need to send photos or talk to the seller

Open a not as described dispute at the bottom of the page under Resolution Centre.

Escalate it after a full 3 days of opening the dispute.

The seller needs to send a pre paid label for the return.

If they dont then ebay should when you escalate the dispute.

Make sure it goes back tracked and that the tracking is in the dispute.

You have 30 days from the day of delivery to open a dispute in ebay

Did it say on the listing that the item was coming from China

If it did then you may have to pay the return postage which is expensive

If it says UK then that is the address it goes back to and the seller has to send a pre paid lable
