Can anybody tell me how doI get hold of customer service?

Its been harrowing and time wasting experience to try and get hold of them.

PLEASE be sure that you really need to contact eBay. One reason why it's hard to get through is that so many members ask questions that are answered in eBay's help pages. Always try these first - just click here, and enter a few words in the search field: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/home

If you can't find the answer, to contact customer support click on "Help& contact" or "Contact us" at the top or bottom of almost every page on eBay. Or just follow the link above, and scroll down to the "Contact us" box.

Otherwise, you've come to eBay's board of community experts so if you explain what the problem is someone here will probably be able to help you - and a lot more quickly than eBay.

There's no shortcut, I'm afraid, you have to go through the rigmarole.    So go to My eBay and click on "Help & Contact", top left.   Scroll down to "Contact Us" and click on that.   Select a topic, the nearest or any topic.   On the next page, on the lefthand side you should get a link for "Chat with us".

You may have to select different topics until you get the chat link.   If you end up using the wrong subject they will still help you if they can.    Or you could try asking your question on this board.   Someone will try to help.
