I bought a rug in September and booked a shipper on Shiply that had a high satisfaction rating to collect it and deliver to me. I didn't realise I had been sent an email by Ebay saying there was a collection code that the seller should use/scan when the rug was collected - this information could have been added to the item sale specifics on MyEbay and I would have seen it, but it wasn't. Long story short, the Shiply shipper, Xpert Delivery Ltd, denies having collected it and the seller says it was collected. I have paid for a rug and shipping and have no rug. I booked through Shiply because they seem to be linked to Ebay. If I'd had clearer communication about the collection code, I would have asked for that. I have been a prolific user of Ebay but re-evaluating this now.
Nothing you can do on ebay now anyway as you are out of time
You will have invalidated the money back guarantee as you sent a third party to collect
