Buyer asked to cancel.

A buyer has now asked to cancel & says he pressed wrong button. So I have sent a cancellation request.

But Im getting no response back. I want to relist the item as due to this I've no doubt lost all bids etc.

Can you help with action I should take. Cancel the cancellation, relist without awaiting confirmation etc.

Thanks for your help

Unfortunately now that you've initiated the Cancellation Request and the buyer has totally ignored the request to cancel you now have no second option but to wait until ten days from the date and time that you sent the Cancellation Request Form, after which time the case will time out.  What you should have done would have been to open an Unpaid Item Dispute two days after the listing ended and then closed it four days from the date and time that you opened the case if the buyer had still failed to pay at that point.  If you'd done that you would have received a 100% refund of your Final Value Fees, credited back to your eBay account, and the timewaster's account would have been hit with an Unpaid Item Strike, at which point you could have made a Second Chance Offer to one of the other bidders who lost out if you'd sold the item via an auction listing.  If, however, the item was sold via a Buy It Now listing then you won't be able to use the Second Chance Offer and will have to relist the item from scratch all over again.  Whatever the final outcome of this case, add the buyer's User ID to your Blocked Bidders List so that he can't waste any more of your time in the future.
