For an item received faulty you have/had 30 days past the delivery date to open an ‘I received an item that does not match the seller’s description’ case in the Resolution Centre.

Neither eBay nor PayPal gets involved in warranty issues beyond the MBG.

The PayPal MBG lasts for 180 days (about 6 months) but again is not a warranty.

If you are too late for eBay or PayPal to support you your contact is with the seller directly.

If the seller is UK based and a business seller Trading Standards may help you.

If you paid by card your card issuer may also help you.

If the seller is a private individual, no warranty is implied.

Warranties are nothing to do with eBay I'm afraid.
