Hi all , bought 2 no not makita batteries off eBay both have failed within 3mths , the seller states on advert there is a 5 yr guarantee with them , not having much luck with emails from him keeps sending back the generic reply. Is there anything Else I can do . I know there not pucka makita batteries but they shouldn't be sold having a 5yr guarantee if they haven't.
Ebay and paypal money back guarantees are for items that are not as described when they arrive
and not a warranty.
Any warranty is between you and the seller.
If they are business in the UK then contact Citizens Advice for their help.
If overseas or a private seller then there is nothing you can do.
See the bottom of the page on the link where it says
Ebay Money Back Guarantee is not a product warranty
