Is there a way of getting basic human help from Ebay other than this forum or automated circles?

Your feedbhack state you opened a PayPal case - therefore you cannot later open a eBay case.

most problems can be sorted by reading the relevant help page

or asking a question here

ebaysCS only read from scripts so you are unlikely to get help for anything other than basic problems from them

try asking your question here, on the boards
