Am I safe ?

So I put up a motorcycle for sale , had mediocre interest, then out the blue....probable scam.

I will buy your bike. Follow this link.

I ignored it and said to go thru proper channels.

Messages slowed to a halt.

Then days later.

A buyer bought bike.full price no prior contact.

But didn't pay.

I gave them a few messages.

48 hrs later. I cancelled order.

Now I have just tried to purchase something for £20.

As I buy.

It comes up an error...

Can't find browser to connect.

Done this wifi and with my data.

Looked up . And it may be a fault which they're working on.

But I've tried 6 hours later to same result.

Sorry its long winded.

It's my age.

LoL

Appreciate you reading/ help

XxXx

How did you cancel ?? ... See the new eBay Auto opened and actioned  > Unpaid/Cancel < case process which can be closed 5 days later to recover the FVF selling fees due and Non payers are given a non payment defect/strike = 'After 5 calendar days, sellers can cancel the transaction using the 'Buyer hasn't paid' reason in Seller Hub'.'

To allow buyers more time and prevent eBay Auto closure, Sellers can set their Preferences to handle cases manually >

Should you relist, consider > Classified Ads. = £19.99 for 28 days with No FVF selling fees ...

Contact details are allowed to view the vehicle and negotiate an acceptable price ... only remove the listing when you have the Vehicle Cash Payment (or cleared/confirmed Bank Transfer) in hand on personal inspection/collection before handing keys and documents to the buyer ... No 3rd party collection/shipping arrangements or PayPal payments ... there is absolutely No payment protection offered for Vehicles >
