As a  new seller ,   eBay will give you an initial limit to the number and value of items you can sell.

Once you show that you are posting out items promptly, and can keep a defect free account they increase your limit. This takes time.

After 45 days, sometimes 90, if there were low sales, they review your account. If all is OK eBay will increase that limit.

You will usually get a limit of 10 items to sell to start with, or up to a value of £650.

The limit is also to protect buyers and eBay from potentially fraudulent sellers, and also fake accounts.

Then, you can ask yourself, once a month, from the link in your Monthly Selling Allowance section on your homepage.

No harm clicking on that link now, if it is not granted, you are asking a little too soon.
