A wanted list?

I sometimes get frustrated at repeated offers and think there may be an opportunity for a wanted list where buyers could list their needs/wants and sellers could contact them (via Ebay) or see it as a prompt to sell.

"I sometimes get frustrated at repeated offers"     Why? haven't you noticed that Best Offer also has the ability to REJECT automatically below any figure you chose to enter. If you wanted it could even be the start price, so the only offers you would see would be above the start price.

As already said many years ago there was a Wants section, but was withdrawn as it would be inviting off ebay deals. Instead you can now have saved searches so that if an item you want is listed you will be advised.

There used to be one, ebay in their wisdom withdrew it,I suspect they were, probably justifiably, worried about losing out on fees during off site deals

There is no wanted list.

I do believe that a long time ago there was one but Ebay did away with it.   I have no idea why but maybe a more long standing regular responder can give a bit more info about that.
