I returned a window after the seller said I could, and he offered me a partial refund wanting me to pay for his questionable postage. I disagreed and tried to get a different window to be reasonable ! He asked me unreasonable questions and EBay closed the return! And then he just ignored me and so have EBay. So I'm now £516.99 out of pocket for the window and £47.52 for the postage . And now being totally ignored by the seller and EBay . To try and get help from EBay has being a nightmare!
I might be a dummy using EBay, but I shouldn't be a victim as well. I might have to seek legal advice. I must have some consumer rights?

When you open a return and the seller accepts it then you follow the rules
The item is returned tracked to the seller and once they have it back then they refund in full
If they dont then you escalate to ebay.
If you dont follow the rules then the case will close and that is the end of it on ebay
You can not open another case on ebay
