I received an email telling me to update my account information by June, 30th to receive a £10.00 voucher. Nothing 1 week later?

Anyone know anything about this?

You are not the first person to ask this. It's rather worrying, as it's hard to see why eBay would offer a £10 voucher just for updating your account information.

The last time this was asked, everyone who responded felt that it may be a scam, a con to trick you into giving away your personal information and password.

Two warnings of a scam would be if the message 1) came by email only, with no copy in your eBay messages folder, or 2) contained a convenient (but probably bogus) link to enter your password and account details. EBay will never send you a link to log on.
