Treasure hunter katielea52 was so absorbed she took the wrong turn because she was too busy thinking about the Treasure Hunt. “Driving home from Uni yesterday I actually did miss my junction on the motorway!” She says: “I was away with the fairies thinking about treasure and suddenly thought "Where am I?" All that thinking didn't help me though - I had to drive an extra 20 miles to get home.”

This is the best fun I've had in ages. I spent today trying to serve customers quickly in my shop, doing Basil Fawlty impersonations. "You want one of these? Hurry up! What colour? Those are in the store, take cream, it's nice. You want me to put it in a BAG? Look, while you're shuffling for your credit card, what springs to mind when I say Cracker? Nothing? For God's sake man, I've got important things to do in my office, having a VAT inspection - DO HURRY UP!" I wouldn't really care what the prize was; I love the whole atmosphere and the comradeship. I haven't seen a bitchy remark on the Treasure Hunt Board since it started.

Is pinkhairymairy's partridge obsession a good tip?

I've spent 7 hours looking for the treasure at work - ignoring all aspects of my job. All I think about is hunting for treasure; all I talk about is "can you think of anything similar to partridge?". Everytime I try to stop I get pulled to the keyboard by a magic force. My head is dying of a headache and I can't think of anything but birds and jesus, and trees, and fruit and............now I'm here again preparing for tomorrow's clue. What's worse is I've gotta go out with friend tomorrow (I am trying to a keep life). My boyfriend wants to take the PC to work so I don't sit here all day and night - and this goes on till after Christmas??

Mytreasures123 shares her Tactics for Finding the Treasure!

“Maybe I lead a sad life but I'm soooooo addicted and having a whale of a time,” says mytreasures123. “I think my tactics are so good but then I read a post and realise others are doing exactly the same. After we all have our initial banter about what's going on, most of us go to Google search the weirdest meanings of the said clue, use thesaurus and then go to eBay. I have 4 eBay web pages up at the same time with string searches and on the hour every hour I press search. My life is on hold till each prize has been found.

“On Monday I ended up buying a Rudolph fleecy outfit for the baby. We are having so much fun with all the conspiracy theories and we have all decided the final prize is a Porsche. I'm hanging on for that.”
