wishing you all a happy belated new year, been up to my eyes, poor hubby fell on black ice 19th dec, and broke his leg, and fractured his hip:_|,[ not good when you are 80 years],:-( came out of hospital 2 days ago, new hip and on a zimmer, so the festive season was spent in hospital poor thing, we are staying at daughters, as he can not climb stairs yet, may have to move, as our cottage has stomach churning steep stairs, best wishes to all for the new year, mally:-)

Thanks Mally, hope the new year gets much better for you.  Im so sorry to hear about you hubby, hope he makes a good recovery very soon.  I know what you mean about the stairs we used to have some similar, thats why we are now in a bungalow...much easier.

🙂 thank you jeffery, it will be a long haul, but he is on his way, he is just really cross he did not pay enough attention to the black ice on trhe driveway, still it could have been worse,

enjoy you trip to london rusty, take truckloads of money:-) things are more exspensive there.

Oh its awful when its icy I dread going out, Ive done many a ballet dance coming down our drive when its slippy lol.

Im not going shopping Mally, Im going to pick a dog up.  I have decided to adopt a rescue dog, just wish he was a bit closer hehe.

ah poor little thing, there are no bad dogs, only owners, you will have to start from scratch rusty if he has learnt any bad habits , i am glad you have given him another chance of a loving home, how has he settled in today, i expect he is very confused

Hes had five homes mally in his short life.

One of his problems is when dogs come on the tv he is not a happy bunny and earlier today he had a bark at a staffie while I was out with him, think the problem there is he hasnt been socialised very well, so its fear really of other dogs.

He had a crying session this morning  and he gets the shakes because hes so scared, cant say as I blame him though at all.

Im sure any problems he has can be corrected with  love time and patience.:-)

Rusty I've got a gsd and he's an absolute darling at home with us

BUT he hates all other dogs and would def attack them.

He also gets over excited with visitors and yet Ive had him since 8 weeks took him everywhere with me properly socialised him but

when he reached maturity he became the antisocial dog from HELL!!!
