Hello Irene and yes I was glad it is over now and the report will be sent to my urologist and then depending on what he thinks he will refer me to one of the tum specialists that operated on me with him in July!..
It was a long day for sure, yet the 2 hours over which I had to drink the gastro flew!..I had the jug full on a table and she asked me to spread it out of the 2 hours, so I had a glass full, then read a magazine, looked at the clock and another 20 minutes had gone by, then she came for me spot on 12 for me to go through and put a gown on!..The needle as I say just wouldn't find the vein, so she after 2 tries got a doctor and he did it!.
Yes I got a hot feeling in my neck and throat, not pleasant but it was expected as I was forewarned!...
I went partly throught the circular scan twice, then that was it, she asked me to sit down in the waiting room for 15 minutes, then if I felt okay they would take the needle out as it was cellotaped to me and they added the isotope through a bag on a drip!..All went okay and then I could go, so I went to the cafe there, got a sandwich and a drink while I was waiting for my lift to take me home again!...
Hello Wolfie and I am so sorry to hear about the tooth pains you have been having and hopefully on monday they will give you maybe treatment or strong antibiotics!...
Other than that though have you been okay and maybe able to get out a little bit?..
