Read the rules - you're supposed to leave a six letter word starting with the two letters chosen by the previous person unless they failed to leave two starter letters for your word in their reply. If this is the case then you can choose any six letter word in the English language and leave two more letters to start off the next word.

Rose, the answer you put down can be considered as correct if it contains six letters, has no errors in the spelling and starts with the two letters suggested in the previous post. That was the whole point of the thread - to make it as flexible as possible by suggesting only the first two letters and allowing the next person to put in the remaining four letters. That way there's more options to choose from, so there should be less struggling to find an acceptable answer. Therefore a word such as "Black" would count as a wrong answer, as it has one less letter than the six characters required. Keep trying though - it'll get easier. 
Just one observation - why are so many people choosing the same two letters at the moment? I've seen "Cl****" come up on quite a few occasions now - there's no need to copy the rest of the herd like sheep! There are plenty of six letter words in the English language - try and think of some new ones to add a bit of variety to the thread!!
