Put the wall mounted fan on. Shut the curtains, take my nightie off and mist myself with tepid water - as it evaporatrs it cools.

I'm doing alright thanks - very busy with a big Xmas card order.

"The hole" is reducing in size, VERY slowly. Unfortunately the infection count just keeps going up and up. The district nurses insisted on re-dressing the I.V. line (although I begged them to leave it for the outreach team), and they managed to pull over half of it out. It will now flush, but won't bleed back, so that will have to be replaced.

i am with stroppy on this .i go and lay on bed with fan on full blastwith a cold flannel wetting myself so the fan cools me.heaven.

It's not quite as hot here today has it has been but it's still humid.  We normally have all the windows open and leave the internal doors open.  The problem is at the moment that we have some flying ants outside so we've had to close the windows as we normally find that they are a pain to get rid of.

Its very very hot here , ive just been out in the car to the hospital & nearly meltled 

Chest consultant has changed my inhaler back to the original one.... yay ..why he wanted to swap it i dont know ...........if it aint broke dont try to fix it is my motto

PCC, that's what annoys me with doctors.  The pain medicaton I prefer is of th soluble variety.  Our GP changed it so that he wouldn't let me have the soluble ones and now he will.  I honestly don't know where I am working.

I'm not sure but I'd guess it's been the hottest day we've had so far.  I don't know if it went any higher at all but the highest I saw the thermometer in the kitchen was 29.8.  Oh, I just looked again and it's still 29.7 at nearly 6 o'clock.

It seems to have got hotter here in the last couple of hours.  At about 5pm, it wa 40 degrees in the greenhouse.  In our kitchen it is 29 degrees.  Our kitchen is normally cold and in winter it can get down as low as 7 or 8 degrees.

its very HOT now. I have a hand held fan from Greece ha ha ha, and one of those cool sticks which you can get from P******D. THEIR VERY GOOD especially on my head if its not bad.

My flat is quite cold, in summer and winter unfortunately, but a godsend at the moment!!!!. . Theres more rain coming i think and its going to cool down again.
